Sorry for what might be a silly question....I’ve ordered some plans and i plan to make some substitutions of Sitka with Douglas fir because i have some nice DF in my woodshop already. Is there any reason i cant mix the two? I was thinking of using DF for the spars and some of the parts of the fuselage. I know different woods move differently but not sure if significant or not.
