I just saw a Member Project Log that someone other than the OP had replied to. Have the rules changed for these threads?

Not supposed to be as far as I know. Moderators can post there though we shouldn't, perhaps one of us wasn't paying attention? Which thread was it?

When the change was made, the rules for Member Logs was not known to me. For a short period it was opened to all. Once I learned of the rules only those with logs there can post in that area. If it was an old log that had not been posted on in some time I did not add that person.
Anyone with a log or starting a log can send me a private conversation and I'll set you up to be able to post/reply in that area.
Mods can mod in that area as they can in the rest of the site.

If you are asking my opinion?:

I think it's nice to have a build log that stays strictly on topic. We can all do like Topaz, Adicted2climbing and I* have and open a second - linked - thread for comments. We can even add the links to our signature if desired.

*and probably many more members that want some feedback.

Admin got me access to my log again. You might have to do a PM if you want it done right away. Seems that now that things are running pretty smoothly Admin is no longer checking in as often.
My log still is allowing posting by others. I'd prefer the old locked log and use a separate discussion thread and use links in my signature and the top post. Keeps things more orderly for those of us with CDo_O_O

I moved to the discussion thread.
I've temporarily closed my build log to stop "outside" comments being added there (I have a discussion thread for the project, both listed in my sig line). Can I have the "build log" thread added to the list of "OP only can post" threads?

Thanks!

I will check the settings. In the meantime only log owners can post in that forum, and should post only on their Log.

Update: The Xenforo software did not have a setting to allow only OPs to reply to a thread. Developer that I work with has created an add-on and applied it to the Log Forum. It is where I can revoke permissions to reply to the posts of others. That is now set to revoke, so no one should be able to post on a thread that is not their own. Please test and let me know if you cannot post to other's threads.
