due to COVID issues I am unable to,get any closer to this project I’m looking at purchasing. Can an6body identify these chunky magnetos please.
new to this field so all help very much appreciated

this is an vw conversion
single inlet port, twin plug. Head
believe ITs a 1600 cc
Australian conversion.

let’s hope they still are ....if I ever get to see them in the flesh...
post COVID restrictions.

How are they driven? if it's by chains, they might be Lucas SR4 mags, which were commonly used in Commonwealth countries as they imported British origin goods and they were used inmany British VW conversions.
