An A&P friend of mine just gave me most of a O-360 and the case is a bit odd and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. The engine data plate is labeled O-360 C2C, 180 hp. The question is the mounting points on the case are straight drilled through (i.e. parallel with the crank) but not machined for conical mounts as the C2C designator would indicate. So whats up with that? And does anybody do the machining to put the correct mounting there or better yet mod to dynafocal?

Easy come, easy go, so if the case inspects as bad or whatever I won't use it, but would be nice to.

Thanks,
Dave
