I need to clarify some things.

If I want to buy a kit, and right now that would be the Zenith CH750, I would do that, and build at least 51% myself...right?

What is the talk about having to have the manufacturer "sign off"? Is that if you change something on the aircraft that messes with their own certification process? Such as changing the way the wing is made? (no...I wouldn't do that...just an example)

Do I need the FAA to sign off on the build as I do it?

Just how many LSA categories are there? I see E-LSA, S-LSA...experimental. I take it that all LSA planes are classified as experimental right?

Then I need training. Do I need to have a physical?

I have been to the FAA website, but I only get more questions than I get answers.
