I figured this subject would be in the archive, but several searches didn’t turn anything up...
We’ve all probably weighed airplanes over the years, so I’m interested in what you used besides an expensive set of aircraft scales. I need to buy a scale, with around an 800 pound or so range. I don’t mind weighing one wheel at a time and the biggest thing I’ll use it under is a Cessna Bird Dog or a two place glider. What ”non-traditional” scales have you used that worked really well, without costing more than fifty gallons of avgas?
