I need to transport an UNCOVERED Fisher Koala 202 (Ultralight) 200 miles from the current owner to my place. I looked into renting a big moving van but that would end up costing me more than the purchase price of the plane! I also looked into renting a flat deck utility trailer and that is a lot more affordable but I need to have a BIG vehicle or they won't rent it to me

Does anybody have any suggestions?

I will be needing a trailer to transport the plane when it is finished as well. I have seen where some people have taken larger boat trailers and used them for transporting small planes. can anybody offer any advice or observations on THAT subject? A LINK would be great!
