Hello All,

My dad just drug home a J4 kitten Sportster project that was unfinished. Seems the father son project of rebuilding a Zigolo just switched to 2 aircraft...:ermm:

Sadly the previous owner died in a sailplane accident. Anyhow, suffice it to say the son who was selling it did not know much about it or aviation and was unable to find the plans. I can find and download a set for the J3 kitten on the Cfair yahoo group, but they are quite faded and not in a large format. Curious if anyone has a set of plans they would sell or possibly have better scanned images that could be sent to me and I have them printed out on larger paper.

  • Were there separate plans for the Sportster Parasol version?
  • My dad needs to replace a few ribs due to a dog chewing on them so a full size rib drawing would be great to find.
  • Also need to rebuild one aileron since its warped beyond fixing.

Other than these few issues, it looks well built and the fuselage is well done as well.
