My dad has a friend who was stationed in Watton England during WWII and worked on B-24's. My dad would like to find a book about that specific base or perhaps there might be a book about repair stations in WWII that would have some details. I vaguely remember seeing such a book a long time ago but searches on Amazon have yielded results that are not specific enough. If I remember right what my dad said it was the 505th repair group under the Eight Air Force Command. So if anyone knows of any such books I would appreciate hearing about them.
