A new member here, hello Everyone. I own a Lancair 360 for 7 years now. I bought this pretty sad and old looking, but good running 360 in 2014 and it took me 2 years of work to make it look nice and fly safely again. Then I flew it for two years doing around 199 kts, burning 8 GpH. Which after I took it apart again and made it go 10% faster. Cruising now over 220 kts at 17,000 MSL burning 7 - 8 GpH up to 1200 miles on one tank. This fuel burn difference is depending on outside temperature and humidity... I can't explain it, I just run with it. I fly a lot for business and I can beat the airliner time up to a 1000 miles distance, hence I don't fly the airliners anymore.

I got stuck in Aspen, Colorado on one hot summer day last year and I couldn't take off due to the close to 11,000 feet density altitude. I installed a nitrous system with a 2 stage wet injection system.

Anyone here with NOS experience?
