First, on behalf of the L-V group, I wish to sincerely apologize to the forum here. The last 10 months have been extraordinarily trying, requiring us to temporarily shelve the project while we attended to a myriad of personal matters that frankly overwhelmed the whole team!

We have received several inquiries about our design, and we took advantage of the opportunity to gauge feedback and the desires of prospective clients. Strangely, the majority of our inquiries have originated from Argentina and Poland, with the US not too terribly far behind, so thank you all!

However, back in December we were finally able to reset, warm up the shop and get back to work!

Due to the unique configuration of our design, as a measure of risk mitigation, we elected to fabricate a dynamically-scaled 25% model, in order to validate our simulation work. With the proof of concept model effectively being a "giant scale", we elected to build it in similar sandwich construction methods we would apply to the full scale prototype...so as a result, it has an unorthodox construction, as opposed to a typical model airplane.

We have exclusively used EcoPoxy products for this build, so we are happy to provide feedback to those interested.

We intend to get flying by June. This model will give us the final vote of confidence we're looking for in order to complete the full scale design, and start work on that.

I'll post a couple pix here for general consumption. It has been a fun project so far, and we have learned a ton, which was the idea all along! Please forgive us for not showing detailed pictures; we still wish to protect our IP!

Oh yeah, did I mention during this time we made the transition to SolidWorks??

Once we get our social sites back up, we will let you all know, but in the meanwhile, we will post here to update everyone!
