Hallo,

i am from Belgium (Europe), but i have been following aviation for several decades now. Last decade was one of experiments. Experimenting what type of aviation i like and trying to understand why some experimental airplanes were so ...weird. I tried to place all my findings in my website Nest of Dragons . Especially go see the Weird section.

Most people from USA know me as one of the first English spoken websites about Flying Fleas. I guess some of the members here received emails from me in the past about this subject.

Others will know me because i have been talking a lot about flying wings, especially Horten designs. I tried to make one myself in composites. Sadly i had to stop that project as it cost too much money. Now i am busy trying something in alu and fabric. Much easier.

If you are into very basic flying, i have the plans for the BirdGlider on my other website (Home - BirdGlider). The plans are there for free. I intended to commercialise it, but i stopped that idea, but the BirdGlider is too good to end in my shelve. So ...i gave it to the world ...for free. Prototype is being built now in Colombia.

I am working on a Aviation Song. But mostly i am proud to say in was the creator of the WUFI event. It is a attempt to do something with all those low budget, slow flying, very basic airplanes all over the world. It is not possible for them to meet at gatherings like Airventure, Friedrichshafen, Paris and so on. They lack the range. So ...i came up with the idea to meet where we all can be at once. THE SKY! And so the moto for WUFI became "ONE DAY, ONE SKY". (WUFI info at -> Nest of Dragons) Last year, just two months after getting the idea, we had 530 people in the air all over the world (Australia, Malaysia, Israel, Greece, France, South-Africa, Norway, UK, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, USA, Canada, ...). I didn't expect that much joy that day, but ...we all bonded using the same sky. It was fun! This year ...we might go for a Guinness Book Record.

I have also a youtube account where i place a lot of videos about weird stuff. My channel can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/user/nestofdragons

Well, lets keep it to that to introduce me.

Keep that brain spawning wings (my usual aviation endphrase),
