I'm looking for folks who have used Kawasaki 440 engines enough to know how they do in long term use in an aircraft. Objective folks, not the guys trying to sell them.

My questions:

Can a 440 make 40HP consistently without overheating problems, etc?
Are there any tuning tricks to ensure long term reliability (e.g. running slightly rich, mixing heavy on the oil, limiting throttle, etc)?
How many hours can one be expected to run before it requires a rebuild/overhaul?
What realistic fuel consumption can I expect?
How do they do in inverted/aerobatic maneuver situations?
When properly tuned, how easy are they to start?
Has anyone run these with electronic fuel injection? (just curious)

Thanks for the help.
