Is Continental E-225 a good engine for actual days?

I'm considering to get one, but I'm a little afraid about parts being this a vintage engine, what about of compatibility of parts with modern engines? Valves, Cylinders? What kind of problems are know with this engine? About propeller flange would have I trouble to find compatible propellers?
