New to aviation. After some life events, I find myself with some extra time and a lot less money. So what better to put on my bucket list but to build and fly an ultralight. I want to stay within 103 rules. I bought plans for a Zing. Has anyone built one of these? Specs show the stall speed too high. Can anything be done to reduce that without serious alterations to plans?

Same general size as a Legal EagleXL. It’s up to the individual builder to keep it light, but it should make 103. The wings in the video look like MiniMax/LE copies so that part is proven 103. Powering it with a 103 type engine will have no questions if it’s a 103 UL or not.
