Greetings,

I saw a number of insurance posts, but nothing specific to training. In recent years, I've always had insurance on a plane I owned, which also covered non-owned, but I'm going to get a BFR, and maybe some dual gyroplane training, and I'm wondering if there's a general rule about who is liable when flying as PIC with an instructor onboard? I could easily see the school having their own insurance, then their insurance comes after me. I'll of course ask the flight school, but I'm curious if anyone has looked into this?

Thanks,
Rusty
