Cessna study shows capacitance fuel gauges inaccurate with oxygenated fuels

According to studies by Cessna Aircraft, capacitance fuel level indicators give inaccurate readings when oxygenated fuels are used. The study indicates that if you are using capacitance fuel level indicators, using auto fuel with ETBE or MTBE additives will affect the reading of the fuel gauge, compared to aviation gasoline or auto fuel without ETBE, MTBE, or ethanol..........
