Hey everyone, I am a pilot (Commercial, Multi, Inst.) and a mechanical/aero engineer (but not strong in aerodynamics) and am working on an ultralight design that could be the basis to scale to much larger. I think Dr. Wainfan's concept is a great one (lifting body, low load structure) and am working on some ideas for low cost and easy build effort. Right now I honestly just need to get some basics figured out and get a model, then prototype built. We know revisions will happen so getting something done is more important than overthinking it. Anyway, I hope I can contribute to the community going forward.
