I am upgrading my old avionics to new. My panel cutter is asking me whether i will install the IFD 410 from the front or the panel or the rear of the panel. I can' answer which i will do. Never installed an avionics tray. I don't expect to get the avionics for another 2 or 3 weeks, hoping to get the panel cut, painted and labeled before the avionics get here. Whats's the difference if i have the complete panel out of the plane on the bench before putting in the airplane?

Thanks
Flying RV7 down for paint and avionics retrofit.
