I am a Engineering student at Iowa State University, a member and build team leader of AirISU, a student organization that is is the process of building a zenith ch 601 xl. We received a I-K technologies engine monitoring system a few years ago, however we can no longer find the manual for it and it appears the company is no longer in existence. It is an IK-2000. Could anyone provide us with any information about it?
Specifically we were wondering what the fuse for the computer should be rated at (1 amp?), as well as if there are any specifications on what kind of sensors we can use. Can we use any J type thermocouple for the CHTs and K for EGTs? Also, does anyone know the function of the four wires coming out of the unit that also takes in pitot and static lines?
Any and all help that we can get would be greatly appreciated.
