If anyone has a good 3-view of the old R. W. Hovey "Beta Bird" (the monoplane follow-up to the Whing Ding), or perhaps a set of plans, I would like to have it for reference.
A friend of mine is giving me a pair of (unrelated) wings, and I'm planning to build a fuselage for it in the same style/spirit as the Beta Bird.
Since Hovey was a qualified aero engineer, I would feel reasonably comfortable using his tail volumes and moments as a general starting point, or proportional guide.
No, this will not be the only comparative or engineering input that goes into this project!
