The first run of my engine after being redone is yeilding high oil temps. I did do some high speed taxing going down my 3/4 mile runway four times. Oil temps when I shut down were at or approaching 250 degree's. Scott from Hummel who did the work is stumped. This must be an installation issue or I would think. This engine never had high oil temps. I am thinking of installing a oil cooler under the cowl. But again this engine never had an oil temp problem. Maybe I should just fly her and she if in the air the temps are not as high. But that does worry me doing this. Thoughts?

I can post some pics of the baffling with the engine installed. Scott would like me to remove the top of cowl and trying running the engine. I will to this and report what I find.

Tony.
