Got into a discussion with a guy, about the compression strength of
S-glass, vs high modulus carbon, when mixed with a binder, like Epoxy.
He was interested if i know of
a composite fiber, with a compression strain failure higher than
S-glass ; and was quite animate that none existed.

I assumed the High modulus carbon / epoxy , was way better in compression, than
S-glass / epoxy ; but i couldn't find charts that showed them , so i could present it, as
proof ?

I kinda thought i had a basic knowledge for composites ; since i do
build my own fake legs from Synthex fibers, as a core , sandwiched
between braided carbon.
