Title should say it all. The 3 LEDs just show center, and both max positions. It would be nice to have an LED bar display that are sold these days that doesn't leave me in the dark where the trim currently is. Does anyone know who made this system and if there is a way to upgrade the LED display?

It will largely depend on the feedback from the actuator. If it has a potentiometer built in, then a multi-level display should be possible. I would start by removing the display and measure the voltage that is on the signal line. If that voltage changes in a linear fashion with the trim movement, then a LED light bar like a LED volt meter can give you more positions (change the LED colours to suit your requirements).
