This past spring I attended Sun-n-Fun where I bought a set of Thatcher CX5 plans. I had all sorts of intentions to begin construction this summer, to the point of fabricating a nice flat, level worktable in my workshop and begin collecting tools for sheet aluminum and construction tips from the builders' group.
THEN I figured out that I didn't need to work for two more years before retiring. So, we are now packing our bags and selling our house in Virginia, to retire in northern Georgia - and begin the actual start of the CX5. We are looking in the Winder area for a house that ideally will have a 3-car garage. More reports in a few months as things get set up.
