Hello everyone! I have been scouring this site for quite a while but just registered. I am currently building a Murphy Rebel. But the truth is I haven't been able to work on it for quite sometime due to my wife in the Army and my kit is in MN and I am in VA.
I have a 172A that I have owned for 24 years and also an Aeronca Champ 7AC-CONV.
It is heavily modified with the original 65hp replaced by a Lyc O-235. Droop tips, extra fuel, VG's, AkBushwheels and PK 1500 Floats for the MN summers. I fly it out of my strip in Northern Mn. when on wheels.
I am hoping to one day get away from the certified side and fly my own aircraft.
