Hello folks, I'm a lifelong aviation enthusiast. I had a PP license many years ago but have not been current in 30-ish years.

I'm currently looking to build a 103 legal ultralight in the very near future...definitely lean towards conventional 3-axis types and have been closely eyeballing the Airbike. I do intend to get some instruction before I solo mine or anyone else's plane. I most likely will go kit route rather than scratch from plans...I'm not a skilled welder but more than competent with wood so a pre welded fuselage and wooden wing as in the Airbike should be well within my skill sets.

I currently live in Lake County California in the Middletown area.
