Is a Warp Drive or Ivoprop a good idea on an A65 Continental? I've read of some problems sometime back but they seem to have been with C90 and 0-200. These would have higher compression. I would think stronger impulses, causing problems. I would prefer the Ivo as it's lighter. Would that make it more susceptible to impulse and harmonic vibration damage? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks .

I have Personally flown in Tom Marson's Dakota Hawk N21298 , with a 2-blade Warp drive and C-85.
Very, Very nice flying aircraft.

Now Currently in Canada, it's new registration is C-GXPR

A friend owna KR-2 which has an A65 modded with a front flywheel, a starter and a space onto which is fitted a three bladed WD prop. It works fine. The mods originated in Canada.

Thanks for the replies. I guess a WD will work they say on their web site to go with the HP hub on Continentals. Tom Marson's Dakota Hawk N21298 looks like a nice flier. I would like an electric starter but can't handle the weight even if I could fit one on. A really heavy glove with Kevlar fingers!
