I knew Windward is working on a 2 seater for sometime and saw the picture of the partial prototype on their website today: http://windward-performance.com/

Some more info here: http://windward-performance.com/img/GosHawk Electric Soaring.pdf and here: http://windward-performance.com/img/GosHawk Brochure.pdf

Greg's history is so impressive and I am not a sailplane guy so do not know what to beleive but when I look at the performance numbers, I am awe stuck.
  • 82mph on 4KW
  • 200mph on 2.3gph for HKS
  • Electric 40KW/HKS700
  • 1400fpm @900lbs

This thing has better performance than a RV7 on quarter of the power and fuel cost. Wants me to get a sailplane ticket!
Anyone has more to add??
