    And you have eloquently made my point as to why we ordered the new improved Heavy Duty PSRU. Made to handle over 1000 hp.

    Like the old saying goes..."They sell you horsepower, but you drive torque."

    I can sell you an engine dyno capable of handling 1,000 hp - at 10,000 rpm.
    I can sell you another engine dyno capable of handling 1,000 hp - at 3,000 rpm.

    Same power rating, totally different machines. The 3,000 rpm one has driveshafts as thick as your wrist.

    And the gears in the heavy duty PSRU are similar in that they are larger. The gearbox is an inch longer also.

    Looks like progress.
    What is the offset from the crank to the propshaft?

    I did ask Autoflight but have not had a response in several weeks. Presumably he is busy building your gearbox!
    The offset may be a significant consideration for my pusher... :)

    You might contact Titan Aircraft. I would send emails to everyone there, starting with Bill Koleno. Your application may differ from the Mustang, however.
