I have a Global 1/2 VW engine and I need a couple of questions answered. Where is a good place for an oil gauge union? there are several blanked off places but I would like some advice where the best place is. The other question is can I rotate the oil filter plate 90 degrees anti clock wise to lower the filter to just in front of the carb, it would allow a slimmer cowl profile.
