I recently made an effort to get some actual stick time. After reading many comments, I decided that some glider lessons may be a good base for 103. There's a nearby glider club so enquiries were made. Free lessons to members, non members can not get lessons. Joining involves over $1100... Glider rent and tow fees seem quite reasonable after that.

Ouch! That's more than I budgeted for this year and getting up is more on top.

Are there any pay per lesson places I could go in NC?
