Hi all,
I just build and installed a custom panel for my 53 bonanza and now i need to build a glareshield.
I've never worked with fiberglass before and have a few questions.
Are the fiberglass and resins available at the automotive outlets good enough to use for non-structural parts or should I order something special from Spruce or Wicks?

Is it better to sandwich the fiberglass with foam for added strength or should the fiberglass be strong enough?
I have a model panel to work from which is real close to a good fit, but not exact.
Any hints or tips on how to use a mold?

Any good websites to go to?

Thanks lots!!

Cheers
