Making the plunge! It's been my lifelong dream to fly an airplane that I built myself, and at 36 years old I've finally said screw it - now's the time. I don't necessarily have the finances, I don't necessarily have the time... but I have the determination to find both, and I'll be damned if I go back on a commitment to myself. So it's time to build an airplane :D

I've decided on a Team MiniMax AeroMax. Just unpacked the empennage kit, and hoping to get started within about a week. I'll start a build thread over in the build log section shortly. I'm about 18 hours into my PPL, unfortunately the Coronavirus pandemic put a stop to the training. But at least now I have some extra time to work on this project, and I'll resume flight lessons later on.

Anyway glad to be here!
