Anyone have any thoughts of the pros/cons of sweeping the wing spar forward inside a wing. Wing is straight, just the spar swept forward?
For example, just noticed the Me 109 has such a spar sweeping forward. Allows space for the wheel to retract I guess, yet gets the spar back to the front to negate all the nasty divergent problems of a rearward spar.
All good or some bad you can think off? Thanks!
