Hi forum,
I have been researching building aircraft for a long time and want an ultralight (can't solo- not old enough) but none of these airplanes are as strong as I would like or are too much. I have been also researching the design of my own and came up with a plan for a sporty looking, low wing, part 103. I was wondering if you could make an entire structure (bulkheads, stringers etc.) of aircraft grade blue foam? Would it need reinforcing or something to harden it? Could you make a wing spar from it or should I stick to my original drawing and use a wood spar with foam ribs and flying surfaces? Thanks! :ban:
