I have these specs that have been passed down about building a road/air motorcycle...

This thing is from the 40's and pretty much ancient but it gave me a freakin awesome idea since the technology of this age is far more advanced than the 40's.

I know that a 2000 Cessna is around 3100lb wet weight and has a 230hp motor.

Im taking all the specs from this craft and downsizing them to a 800lb modified sportbike.

so i have a few questions.

I know it could sustain flight but could a two wheeled craft land?

do U.S. laws state anything about using a highway as a runway against the law? :grin:

and if this craft does meet regulation, will i be able to fly this thing without the airforce shooting me down?

Thank you for your comments, I have no idea who tried to make this machine in '48 but who ever it was, he was either crazy or a genius.
