If you have to fly commercial then Fly American Airlines for they are still doing all their maintenance right here in the USA. Of course they are being punished for this by being at the door step of the FAA. It's soo much easier to walk across the street than too fly to South America.

I often wonder how our government can allow such a heavily regulated safety critical industry as aircraft maintenance to be outsourced to countries in Asia, South America etc.. When passenger aircraft hold US registration, and airworthiness certificates they should be maintained here in the US. This is just another example of how we have been sold down the crapper by our own government.
