Hey Guys,
I wanted a fluting tool... I went to Home depot..

But all they had was a MONSTER... and $20 bucks for it...

I wanted a single type tool... So I figured it would be easy to make...

I've seen ones made from expensive pliers... Didn't make sense...
.
I found a old tool in the drawer... Looked like it would work...
.
I found some kind of pruner or cutter of some sort...

I tried to modify the tool ...

But it needed more.....

.
So I needed to make the bottom jaw wider...

This is 5/16" chromemoly (.058 )

The lower jaw needed more support... I added a screw

.
The upper jaw isn't sharp... I slightly rounded it...

This isn't the greatest tool....But it's what I had laying around

I don't need it "much" ,

It'll do the job... The Stringer Material is curving good...
