Hi, I currently own a Velocity XL and am building a Sky Ranger 2 with a friend. I started flying in 1990 and only have about 2200 hours. Most of my time is in certified aircraft and the last couple hundred hours in the Velocity and a Long EZ. I did not build the Velocity but, I am updating the panel and going through the Franklin 220 hp engine. The Sky Ranger 2 had a landing mishap and was stripped for parts. We bought what was left and started rebuilding it. The Velocity is a great cross country plane and hope the Sky Ranger 2 will be a lot of fun flying off my 2000' grass strip.
