ok so ive recently found an interest in flying, im a sailor and alot of my friends also fly so they have intrigued me so i thought id take some flying lessons which i did so far ive had 3 and wow its amazing some simmilarities to sailing too i have to say. but while i learn id like to build a plane ideally, id like to build one thats cheap a) because its going to be cheaper to maintain, cheaper to build and i dont have loads of money and b) its challenging and also something with a good range for longer distance cruising im not talking looong im talking like few hundred miles. Id like to build out of either plywood or fabric plus plywood or fiberglass i know how to lay fiberglass and i could make it foam cored in terms of weight which im guessing is a concern with aircraft nyways so i need to know how to start nd yes im looking for preferably a one or two seater design with a cheap smaller engine
