What is your favorite engine oil, for those who burn 100LL? Synthetic? Non-synthetic?

I know of at least one person on this forum who will tout the benefits of Mobil One. We have used that oil in all of our vehicles, one of which has 220,000 miles on the clock. Trouble free miles, too.

As stated in another thread, we are looking at using Shell Rotella T6 (synthetic), as it is a "low ash formula, multi-functionional dispersant" oil.

I have read many arguments on both sides of the oil issue. Of interest here is hearing from those who are running a synthetic oil, and burning 100LL in an auto conversion aircraft.

For those running non-syn, your results are of interest also.

I read on another forum that Amsoil was originally developed for the aviation industry. But then Mobil One had all of those issues, and Amsoil pulled away from aviation.
