For all the discussion here on how to build aircraft on here, there doesn't appear to be a dedicated thread to factory tour videos and photos, so here it is. Please keep it to GA / Experimental and smaller if possible

I visited the Taylorcraft factory in the mid 1980s, when it was still in Alliance, OH. A lot of the guys working there were older, who had worked there in the 40s and were then there as a part time retirement gig. The same year, I was in the McDonnell-Douglas plant in conjunction with my job.... the T-Craft plant was a lot more interesting.

I visited the Volaircraft factory in I believe 1961. Was a couple miles from my wifes father and mothers home in Aliquippa, Pa. They were bought out by North American Rockwell and renamed the Darter and Lark.
Visited Zenith at Mexico , Missouri.
    Lyc engines at Williamsport, Pa.
Dana-- Close friend of mine was an senior engineer for Mc Donnell-Douglas plant in St Louis and I also knew the head of engineering at that plant. Have spent the week end at his home.

Visited the Aero Commander factory in Georgia, where the Meyers/Commander 200 and the AG plane were being built, the Lockheed GA plant when the C5 was new, and the Glasair kit plane factory pre and post bankruptcy.

Didn’t think about components; I did spend some time with propeller builder Ed Sterba at his workshop.

Have been amazed at the quality of work at Jim and Kevin Kimball’s Pitts kit / restoration shop.

Visited Steve Wolf’s operation many times.
