I'm excited about this site, I was thinking about starting a site like this but now I won't have to. Thanks Jake!
I have been a long-time EAA member and have seen the organization shift its focus. I'm not bashing EAA, it's the nature of large associations. I'm hoping a web site like this can allow individuals to go into greater detail with each other on design details and building ideas. EAA can still be VERY helpful fighting the big battles to keep our rights to design and build.
I am about 17 years into my homebuilt-design education. Some day I will actually freeze the design long enough to get more than a couple spars built. Right now I am side-tracked learning about ducted fans which if incorporated would change my design entirely. My basic concept is a 4-seat with Ford V-8 power...
I have barely begun to explore this web site and hope to find many pleasant suprises.
