Hi all,
New member here. I am considering buying a Christavia that is currently flying with an experimental registration. In every way it qualifies for LSA , except that when registered, the builder put down 1500# gross.
Anybody have any experience with trying to get a plane re-registered into E-LSA by changing the gross weight to 1320?
I‘m sure I’m not the first guy to ask this, but I wasn’t able to find anything with the search.
I guess if someone is wondering why I would like to do this I should say that I am a licensed Lightsport mechanic and I would like to do my own work and signoffs for annuals.
thanks and looking forward learning more.
