I have a used exhaust pipe that has a welded-on output tube that normally extends into the air stream. It was somewhat 'squashed' by previous owner, not closed up, but no longer round.

I thought of using an exhaust expander to round it out again, but doubt that would work. Short of cutting it off and re-welding a new one on, is there any way that might work short of being 'extreme?'
