Howdy, I've been working on SKA 200's for years but haven't any real clue about homebuilding. Have joined the EAA and am in the early stages of trying to get it together as far as planning is concerned. I imagine my project will take about 10 years to complete. My dream project is a replica of a Morane Saulnier MS230. I like the Stolp Starlet but it only seats one. The Baeking Deuce intrigues me but it just doesn't seem to be my cup 'o coffee. Ever since I saw the Morane fly in the final scenes of 'The Blue Max', I've been hooked. Anyone with info on this machine, let me know. So far I've found some reduced size drawings, but they don't offer much about rigging. I have considered using data from the Starlet, Deuce and Stearman for geneal ideas about fuel system, brakes, cable routing, etc. I tried contacting museums in France without much response. I understand there's a MS130 at Old Reinbeck Aerodrome. That will be a must see. That's pretty much it. Hope I can be of assistance to the group.
