Hi All,
It’s been a few years of a busy life, dreams that didn’t come true, bringing up family and all that stuff…. Finally I am at that stage of life where things somehow got paid off and those dreams are finally another step closer to reality.
A lots happened in the light aircraft world over the last 10-20 years, not least in engines.
I am interested in purchasing a well known French designed aircraft that typically used either a C90 or an 0200.
I am really surprised to hear how expensive the 0200 has become to overhaul, some people saying it’s around $30 k now to have an 0200 fully overhauled. I don’t know what a barrel and head costs these days, but it won’t be cheap? As I am UK based, then those costs relative become even more expensive. Is anyone out there able to confirm/supply these figures?
Whats the C90 spares like and are they cheaper to keep in the air?
Regards,
HH
