First, hello to everyone! I am new here.

Please, i need help from experienced forum members.

(Some theoretical thinking)
I'm interested in engine mount design for +/-9G aerobatic aircraft.
Let say, that engine have 200+ kilograms(exaple>Lycoming IO-540 + prop..), and let say that the engine mount loads are tipical for this kind of aircraft-acording to FAR 23.361,371,363. Safety factor is 2

Engine mount should be designed from 8-12 steel 4130 tubes and ring section (dynafocal. config attachment points). In this case, what the typical OutsideDiameter of those tubes, and the typical wall thickness would be acording to your experience!

Let me rephrase that question! What are the typical values of those parameters for widely used engine mount designs (for aerobatic aircrafts such as: edge 540, mxs-r, extra300,330...) made of 4130 steel. Are they unusually thick or not?

Need this data for comparation!

Thanks in advance. Sorry for my english!

Miko!
