I've been idly wondering if I could braze copper sheet to a motorcycle brake disc for an eddy brake...

Few more photos of our test bench with hydraulic brake. We will make copy for one of our customer.
We make hybrid motors ICE + electrical engine-starter-generator for our small 35kg VSTOL UAV.
Using electronic load to test hybrids.

I think you'd run into coefficient of expansion problems. An aluminum disk would be fairly easy to get your hands on though....

Don't need much copper. 0.5mm is plenty. I don't want to use Al as it gets very soft when hot. I could braze copper to both sides of the disc if COE is an issue.

Exist Diamond like coating. It has very good surface hardness (diamond) and conduct heat very well. So you can use it for aluminum.
I believe you can find supplier who will coat for reasonable price.

This is for an eddy current brake. Electrically conductive disc rotating in a magnetic field.
A brake disc is an easily and cheaply found heat resistant disc, but it needs higher electrical conductivity to avoid an enormous electromagnet for the field.

I wonder how many of these Thread Mills are put in the trash or sold cheap used on Craigslist. Make Adapter Frame for your 2 Stroke Motor and connect direct drive with a Pulley & Belt.

We finally made and tested EFI instalation kit for Rotax (and other brands one or 2-cylinder inline engines).
Fuel pump and pressure regulator can be used any available in nearest shop.

i don't know about over there in Russia, but most Computers Sold in the USA/Canada/Mexico today, don't have a 9 Pin Serial Port Connector today, they use USB.
The vast majority of People have Smart Phones today, which also use a mini USB. Windows OS10 has been out now for around 4 years now and with their Free
Upgrade to it, many People are using it today.

For me, I would like to see AN Fittings used on the EFI Throttle Body. When tucked into a CAR/TRUCK/BOAT and some Airplanes Engine Compartment out of the Airstream, Tube Clamps work ok, but many Engines used on AirPlanes are out in the Airstream.

Got a mini Movie of it being Installed and used?

Any Dyno Data Sheet Data showing HP made with it say 2500 to 6500rpms?

    Are You Suppling that Intake?

I do see Adapter Cables USB to Serial DB9 Available.

Yes, we had to use RS connector by some reasons, any adaptor cable like USB will work.
At moment made only one kit, customer dont give us time for testing. Just saw ~200 rpm + increase compare 2 carbs.
One day will test next kit and got all curve.

Ecotrons EFI and MegaSquirt EFI seem to be the Cheapest and Simplest EFI out there. Getting a Good EFI Intake and EFI Throttle Body for it seems to be the biggest problem. For the Liquid Cooled Rotaxs, you need a Billet Intake with the Weber 40mm EFI Throttle Body Bolt Pattern. For the Fan Cooled Rotax's you need and Adapter Plate for the SFS 40mm-45mm EFI Throttle Bodies that Weld on the Intakes. Eliminate the Rubber Boots.
